5 Seconds of Summer are a pop rock band that originated in Sydney, Australia in 2011.(band members from left to right) Michael Clifford: guitar and vocals, Luke Hemmings: lead vocals and guitar, Calum hood: bass guitar and vocals, Ashton Irwin: drums and vocals. They began by posing covers of songs onto youtube and gained a little fame, but then joined One Direction on their tour. This is what gave them their international fame.
